At The Londoner we like to showcase great performers from the golden era of music – from rock n roll to the present day, and we don’t let anything get in our way!
We are proudly situated in Barnsley town centre and we feel its important that we bring the good times back.
The Londoner was reopened in March 2012 after several incarnations including The Shambles (opened 1982), O Neills and the Lord Nelson. It was converted to a club named Tempo in 2002 and an excellent sound system was installed which forms the basis of our latest superb state of the art system that you hear today.
Named after an iconic pub/showbar which was very popular with Barnsley folk in the seventies, the Londoner plays hits and memories that bring back the music of your life.
We pride ourselves on the quality of our drinks, we ensure that our products are superbly presented to our clientelle and are confident that our drinks are of a far higher quality than “just” a town centre bar.
